Suburb

A Suburb is a named 10 block by 10 block subsection in the city of Malton. There are a total of 100 separate suburbs in Malton, arranged in a 10 by 10 grid. This results in a total playable space of 10,000 blocks.

In the game, the suburb you are in is provided at the top of the 3x3 map that shows the immediate environment that is used for moving. If the map is not fully 3x3, then you are at one of the borders of Malton, not the boundary of a suburb.

Danger Levels

Very High: Most buildings wide open or zombie-infested and/or massive hostile zombie mobs.
High: Zombies inside many resource buildings and/or significant hostile mobs.
Normal: Active zombies and break-ins, but no major hordes.
Low: Structurally intact with few zombies, but a very low survivor population and few to no lit buildings.
Very Low: Structurally intact and inhabited by survivors, with numerous lit buildings, and few to no zombies.
Unknown: Mostly or entirely ruined, and devoid of significant survivor or zombie populations.
